ShoreTel, a leading provider of Pure IP Unified Communications (UC) solutions, will be demonstrating its comprehensive portfolio of Unified Communications and Contact Centre Solutions at this year’s UC ’09, 11-12 March, Olympia, London (stand 606).

Contact Centre 5.0 will be on show and available for demonstration for the first time at UC ’09. It introduces key innovative functionality that makes this application one of the easiest to use and administer in the industry, and ideal for organisations looking to deploy a highly available, scalable, sophisticated contact center solution.

New features include increased capacity; hot-standby redundancy for disaster recovery; and new supervisory functions for managing agents and tracking customer service issues. The built-in outbound dialer in the ShoreWare Enterprise Contact Center application boosts the system’s capabilities, making it an effective tool for improving productivity.

In addition, Mark Swendsen, managing director, EMEA, ShoreTel is participating in the seminar programme where he will be giving two presentations:

The UC Implementation Guide - from building the investment case to delivering ROI and business value (Wednesday 11th March, 2:30pm -3:00pm)

Context Aware Communications - The Next Wave of UC (Thursday 12th March, 11:10am - 11:40am)

ShoreTel’s UC platform is based on the company’s unique single-image distributed architecture which enables customers to scale from one user to 20,000 users across multiple sites whilst maintaining a simple and centralised management function.

ShoreTel’s latest range of ShoreGearÒ Voice Switches (unveiled last month) will be on show. These switches include integrated support for voicemail and auto-attendant applications reducing the cost and complexity of deploying a highly reliable and robust voicemail and auto-attendant system across multiple locations. The ShoreGear 50V, ShoreGear 90V and ShoreGear 90BRIV switches, ensure organizations can provide local access to voicemail even in the event of WAN downtime.
