Inxmail Professional now PHP5 enabled

PHP5 developers now have access to the extensive email marketing functionality of Inxmail Professional. Providers of shop systems and web CMS are delighted to be able to use the PHP5 interface to add Inxmail Professional high-performance email marketing to their range of applications.

Owing to the high level of demand from PHP developers, Inxmail is converting its API from PHP4 to PHP5, giving them immediate access to the extensive email marketing functionality of Inxmail Professional. Automated subscribe and unsubscribe procedures, flexible personalisation and individual tailoring of the content and attachments, efficient handling of click reactions and comprehensive reporting are just a few examples of the functionality available to PHP5 developers.
The load on the server caused by mass emailing means that shop systems and web CMS with an in-built email send function are often interrupted with incoming click reactions and bounce backs. With the Inxmail Professional API, providers can now leave these tasks to Inxmail Professional, resulting in greater system stability, together with much higher email throughput and a range of fully developed functions for professional email marketing.
The OXID eSales interface, which has been based for many years on the Inxmail API for PHP, is a good example of a long-term user in the shop systems field.
With the arrival of the PHP5 interface, Inxmail will withdraw completely its support service for PHP4 with effect from August 2008. The new PHP5 interface is freely available to all Inxmail customers under the Inxmail ASP service and with the license solution as Inxmail server software.
