Vikara announced the successful implementation of its CRM software, v-TEAM, at Collège Boréal – a French-language post-secondary college in Ontario. Among its mandates, Collège Boréal helps industry and business professionals meet their educational requirements by deploying specific or custom training courses. “Our field training consultants and directors had a major challenge trying to match the changing needs of professionals and industry with the specific expertise of our large staff of teachers.”, says Nicole Laflamme, Collège Boréal’s Vice president «Les Entreprises Boréal». “With v-TEAM, our field staff can now easily search our resume database and match up the needs of our clients with our available expertise. Designing, staffing and rolling out a course can now be done in days instead of weeks.” Access to stored information, such as course materials and resource profiles, is faster and more easily shared, which means the College can respond more quickly to new projects and developments. Laflamme stated, “Next we are planning to use some of the outbound correspondence features of v-TEAM to promote courses through email and the Internet.”

v-TEAM is a fully featured Customer Relationship Management software packaged with full sales automation, marketing campaign management and help desk capabilities. v-TEAM is built on a variety of technologies including IBM’s Websphere and Lotus Domino/Notes software. In addition to the English language, v-TEAM has been localized for French and German markets. Spanish is planned for early 2005. “Having a French version was critical for Collège Boréal since we are a francophone institution.”, continues Laflamme,
