Element Computer, Inc., the developer of the popular linux-based Fusion Universal Business Appliance for the small and medium enterprise (SME), announced a partnership with CentraView, LLC, provider of browser-based Contact Management, Sales Force Automation (SFA) and Customer Relationship management (CRM) software. Element Computer will deliver CentraView's open-source software pre-installed on the new Fusion CRM Appliance which is targeted for shipment by Q1 2005.

The Fusion-CRM line leverages the power of an all-in-one appliance server supporting up to 100 users and combines the CentraView solution in configurations of 10, 25, or 50 users. Additional users may be purchased as needed. “We have customers and channel partners in the US and over seas who are requesting a browser based CRM/SFA solution that runs on our server appliance,” said Ray Jolly, CEO of Element Computer. “CentraView offers the most feature-complete and scalable solution we could find. We expect that the Fusion-CRM appliance will be very well received, and will provide significant value to our product mix,” says Jolly. “This is yet another way for Element to deliver high customer value, and its a key differentiator for our channel partners, based on our proven reliable and easy to use Linux based business appliance.”

“Certain customers and resellers want a version of CentraView that runs their data, but without the added complexities of buying a separate server and having to configure and maintain 3rd party hardware and software,” said Alan Rihm, CEO of CentraView. “Pre-installing CentraView software on a dense, powerful, yet cost effective Fusion server eliminates the complexities of server setup and 3rd party software configurations, and reduces the total cost of ownership of our software. The Fusion CRM server is pre-configured with the latest version of the CentraView software, so administrators and users can become productive almost immediately. The partnership with Element Computer makes it even easier for our customers to focus on using our software to improve their business and processes, and provides a single source for all service and support.”
