TELUS to Standardize Billing and Order Management on Amdocs

Amdocs, provider of billing and CRM products and services for true integrated customer management, announced that TELUS, Canada's second largest telecommunications company, has turned to Amdocs for billing and order management solutions and associated implementation services. The Amdocs technology will provide TELUS Communications with an integrated platform for customer care, billing and ordering, allowing TELUS to enhance customer service and rapidly roll out new products.
"We selected Amdocs based on the company's depth of telecommunications industry experience, proven expertise in solution delivery and a five-year track record of successfully working with TELUS Mobility," said Kevin Salvadori, TELUS executive vice president, Business Transformation and chief information officer. "Amdocs will be our trusted partner as we enhance and simplify our processes, systems and tools to make the future friendlier for our customers."
Amdocs product and professional services teams will consolidate multiple legacy systems to deliver unified ordering, and billing capabilities for TELUS Communications. The deployment will dramatically reduce time-to-market for TELUS, allowing it to more rapidly deploy popular new services.
"Success in today's hyper-competitive communications industry lies in a carrier's ability to create an intentional, differentiated customer experience and to deliver a rich set of diverse service packages to its customers," said Michael Matthews, chief marketing officer of Amdocs. "Having worked with TELUS Mobility for several years, we're happy to now work with TELUS Communications as well to integrate the various systems that support the customer throughout that customer's life-cycle, thus laying the foundation for true integrated customer management." 01.12.2004, Amdocs
