CRM Invoice to Word via VBA				Replies
Author: Steve (81-178-13-86.dsl.pipex.---) Date: 21.02.08 Hi everyone, I wonder if anyone can help. We have our invoicing set up in CRM which we have written a ASP page to show the invoice in a Crystal Report, and to generate XML to pass to an xml file, which is then read by a Word template with VBA code behind to pull the data in the correct places on the document. The main server in our office contains the CRM data, whilst we use other computers connected to the network to generate the documents on. Word runs in the background on the server, and closes once the document has been loaded on the other machines. We have a strange problem, whereby the xml file can be written to the server faultlessly every time, but in order to get the Word side of things to work, we have to have a Remote Desktop Connection to the server. Does anyone know how to overcome this problem? Thanks in advance, Steve
